Adina is an Educational Technology Coordinator for San Marcos Unified, a K-12 district with over 22,000 students. In this role, her primary responsibility is to develop and implement face-to-face, on-demand, and online professional development programs/resources for teachers, classified staff, and administrators. Adina has also served as a San Diego CUE Board Member/Tech Fair Speaker Chair, CUE Google in Education West Coast Summit Event Committee Member, and CUE Communications Committee Chair. As part of her personal growth, Adina earned Google Innovator & Trainer Certifications, Leading Edge Online/Blended Teacher & Professional Developer Certifications, and Common Sense Media Digital Citizenship Trainer Certification. She has served as adjunct faculty for California State University San Marcos in support of teacher candidates and a Leading Edge Certification instructor for the San Diego County Office of Education. Adina has also been a presenter at numerous events including local CUE affiliate events, CUE National and Fall Conferences, CUE Rock Star and Black Label events, Google Summits, the California State Library Association Conference, the California Parent Teacher Association Conference, EduCon, and ISTE Conferences. Other activities include being an Organizer for EdCamp San Diego and Better Teacher Together Teacher Summit Edcamps, serving as San Diego Google Educators Group (GEG) Leader, and founding EquityEDU – a community of educators dedicated to better understanding of student equity issues and putting positive solutions in place to address those issues.
Adina lives with her family in San Diego, California and is always to ready plan new travel adventures, find new things to learn, and collaborate on new projects.
